Q8 Quesnel C 7030 is particularly suitable for quenching operations on carbon and alloy steel components of small to medium size,including those with complex geometries, where high hardness levels are required. Its specific formulation also ensures excellent controlof distortion caused by the heat treatment process. It is used in open quench tanks and continuous furnaces with bath temperaturesranging from 30 °C to 80 °C, and up to 100 °C in controlled-atmosphere furnaces.
