Description

Jenbacher S-LF Oil 40 is a high-performing (hydrotreated) oil for Jenbacher engines. This medium-ash product is specifically developed for engines running under severe fuel gas conditions in untreated non-natural gas applications (biogas, sewage, landfill, etc.). Jenbacher S-LF Oil 40 provides an increased drain interval and improved Total Base Number (TBN) retention. The special used oil condemning limits for this product suppot a reliable operation with an extended oil drain, resulting in reduced life cycle costs.

Application

Jenbacher S-LF Oil 40 can be used for Jenbacher engines Type 2, Type 3, Type 4 and Type 6, operating on various types of untreated non-natural gases. For specific versions, refer to TA 1000-1109.

Engine cleanliness

Provides enhanced engine cleanliness and protection for the cylinder head valves and valve seats, while reducing combustion chamber deposits and sludge build-up throughout the engine.

Lower operational costs

Due to longer oil life and reduced oil consumption, along with advanced viscosity control and excellent TBN retention in untreated non-natural gas applications with increased acid content

Extended drain

Highly balanced gas engine oil with extended TBN condemning limits, validated by INNIO’s extensive field validation program
